GMe Forum 2008

The GMe Forum 2008 takes place on November 13 and 14, 2008 in the "Festsaal" and "Boeckl-Saal" of TU Vienna, Karlsplatz 13, 1040 Vienna.

The "GMe Forum" continues the tradition of the GMe seminars held every other year since 1977. The intention of the "GMe Forum" is to present application-oriented results of international industrial and academic research and to indicate trends for future applications of research results. This year's seminar will focus on new developments in the areas of sensors, nanotechnology, nanostructures, materials and technologies, optoelectronics, photonics, and spintronics.

Invited speakers from renowned research laboratories and companies present the current state of the art in micro- and nanoelectronics on Thursday and Friday morning. Several Austrian companies introduce their contributions to the areas mentioned above.

The Austrian university groups supported by the GMe show the results of their work in oral presentations and a poster session on Friday.
